    Garter snake enclosure.

    Greetings.
I'm buying a Checkered Garter snake baby soon, and I was wondering what sizes of vivarium/faunarium would be best for now.
I was also wondering if a suitable sized faunarium would be an okay housing for her whilst she matures, or until she outgrows it.
    Many thanks.

A 20 gallon long would work a charm for life.

    30" x 12" x 12" dimensions.

Dont use faunariums because they can flatten they'r heads to get through the slats like mine did.
A 45x45cm exo terra would be perfect until its a sub adult (lots of space and escape proof).
When adult-Get the biggest viv you can afford and have room for as these snake need the space to explore.
