Ugh...I don't know what to say about that. I've never heard of an endoscopy being done awake. Can you get it done somewhere else? Ask them to put you to sleep? It's a bit odd if you ask me. If you can get them done asleep...why aren't they knocking you out...unless they need you awake for it for some reason.

I can't get it done anywhere else unless I have 250 in my pocket that's about to be flushed down a toilet. I don't really care too much, I'll cope with it the way I cope with other stresses... Get in, get it done, leave and forget about it.
