    Field herping

New to the fourm but not herping. What I would really like to see is a field herping section to get members out in the field instead of sitting behind a computer all day. We all know the fresh air does wonders and there is nothing like finding these little gems in their habitat.
    Thanks,
    Jr

Welcome to the club blue. As soon as the weather breaks for the better I plan on doing some hunting up in the bear mountain region here in upstate NY.
Stay in peace and not pieces.

i dont find many garters in my area but have found alot of other colubrids in the past 2 months. i go herping 2-3 times a week and stay out in the woods for about 5 hours at a time. if i find a garter i will post it here. i see 1 garter a year. its pretty sad lol i live in the most southern part of new jersey so im in between the bay and ocean. most swamps are brackish so i have to travel about 20 minutes to find stuff.

Here are a few pics from the last outing and this pretty young lady that I found. The photo do not do her justice.
