    Hi all, I'm back.

So it's been a sad summer. My little honduran passed away unexpectedly and without any cause. My vet who is not a reptile specialist but knows a bit performed a necropsy which did not reveal a cause of demise. he was my first little snake and the guy that started my love for keeping snakes, so it's understandable that i took it a little tough. I was given him because he was a picky eater who missed many meals in the beginning of his life. We turned that around and he was eating wonderfully every 5 to 6 days for me. I have gone over all of my husbandry practices with a local keeper and expert on milksnakes to see if it was somehting I played a part in causing. It seems that there is a numbers game out there in snakeworld and sometimes your number is up. Rest in Peace Red and Black (name courtesy of a 3 year old who misses him.

Thanks you all . Mr. Colton has 4 other snakes to befriend so hopefully one of those will become a favorite. I'm planning to hold off on getting any new snakes until I get a garter come fall.
