    Good day gone sad. :(

Today when I got home from work, I went to check on the babies Steve gave us from the Radix Ranch visit. All was well. The albino red side, albino checkered, and the radix were all out and about looking at me as I check in on them like I do every day. Fast forward 5 hours. We come home from dinner and I poke my head in to check on them again and the little red side girl we named Crescent was dead. She was nose down mouth wide open with a piece of substrate in her mouth. She ate just fine yesterday. She wasn't all shriveled or anything. No indication at all that anything was wrong. She had a good shed at the beginning of the week, with no issues.

This is very sad for both me and my husband, she was his favorite out of all of them. It's sad for me because I thought even after Steve told us she might not make it that we were on our way with her. We made very sure to do everything correctly. But I guess someone had other plans.

She currently is laid to rest in the freezer until the ground here thaws.

Sad news. Sometimes it just happens with scrubs for no apparent reason, there's so much we don't know about how they develop and how that can go wrong.

Sorry to hear that Kelsey. It is so strange when a thriving animal suddenly dies. My concerns were with the albino Checkered(T.marcianus) by the way.
Glad to hear the others are doing good.
