After the kids all went to bed it was time for Dad to do some last minute gift wrapping. It had to be done in a large area away from the kids. Hence, the small snake room. While I was fighting with a round gift I felt eyes on me. I glanced over at the TLC(Tender Loving Care) enclosure which I was sitting next to. All but a couple of the snakes had their little faces pressed to the glass, watching ever more I made. I had to take a break and hold a few of these special snakes. I tried to explain to them that they were diurnal and should be asleep. That had no effect on them. I then pulled out the big guns and explained that Santa would not be able to deliver all the pinkies to the good little radixes unless they were sound asleep. There was a mad rush to the hide. Within moments everyone was sleeping with visions of sugar plum pinkies dancing in their heads.(Sorry, I just had to)
