Do you have that one garter in your collection that just eats everything in sight? My penny is such a pig. I scatter everyone to their corners and feed them then offer a few nightcrawlers which they LOVE!!! but piggy penny here wont stop eating. I will upload a picture of how fat she made herself last night. she also stole everyones nightcrawler treats. smh. does anyone else have a garter that does this? gg2.jpg

I would call most of my garters "Pigs". I think it's pre-wired in them an "eat or die" kind of thing.
I know what you're saying though. I have an adult T. s. parietalis - Red Sided Garter that seems in overdrive when it comes to eating.

haha i mean both of mine are wc garters, and the other female is just as big as penny, but penny will eat all she can then go and try to rip another worm out of chex' mouth. silly little ladies. im trying to get the picture of how full she made herself last night.

I have a couple that will eat as much as they can get, although most will regulate themselves within reason.

That's what mine does too- he eats until he's full, and when he's done, he's done; refuses further offerings. When he's hungry though...It's like a form of snake insanity! LOL
