    Cache Valley hunting

I took my kids out with me for my annual Cache Valley herping trip...lots of fun! saw tons of wandering garter, a few valleys, and a few leopard frogs.
one of the first snakes we found...a baby wandering

they were everywhere.... in the early morning you could find dozens sunning themselves along the road...

they were all over the trees here...

Ahhh, the rare upside-down bat-moth. In it's natural habitat of upside-down asphalt!
