2012 Holdback updates, Albino flame eastern, Blue red sided and Golden redsided

Updating pics of some 2012 holdbacks, the golden trait was proven out this year, pretty stoked about that. The albino flame is one of the nicest I have ever owned, she glows in person. The blue red sided also proved out this year. I had bred a blue red side male to a snow, albino, anerythristic, normal and "het" blue red sideds, the same as I had done last year. Last year got nothing but this year got lucky ...the male ended up breeding successfully with the het blue red sided and produced a litter of blue and normal looking babies. I wish I had taken photos of the entire brood as the "blue" and 66% het babies were easily discernable at birth. I strongly suspect the blue is actually hypo and hopefully after future breedings, will prove this out as well.

Love the golden! Quite the interesting pattern. Where did she originate? The albino flame is a stunner.

Thanks everyone, the Golden was originally found in New Jeresy, she was gravid when captured and had produced normal looking babies 2 summers ago. They look a lot like the granite checkereds imo.

Kind of reminds me of a florida or brooks king too. What a bizarre morph for a red sided garter.

The title says Albino flame eastern, Blue ride sided and Golden red sided....I know it doesn't really look like one, but that's what it says.

We can wait for Scott to weigh in on this but I am sure that it is an eastern and not a red sided and that it was just a typo...

We don't even have to wait for Scott... Look at the picture of the Golden and the feed chart/label says Gold East
