So tonight, I introduced my sweet little Radish to my two male anery radixes. This was the first time they had EVER been introduced to a sexually mature female. Radish has just come of age this season and was brumated, and I decided to try my luck. Well, turns out the slightly larger male figured it out! When he first smelled her he seemed really confused. The smaller one was not so quick to catch on. the larger started frantically twitching his head, and his whole body, and was zipping around aimlessly having what I would have called convulsions, had a receptive female not been present. He started "humping" the substrate and his coconut hidey while having just his head on her body. He did that for about ten minutes and then he SUDDENLY realized that he had to be ON her. So off he went, he courted her first backwards, then realized he wasn't into that and turned around for about a minute before he finally figured out the meaning of life. Now he's busy learning for the first time what being dragged around by his manhood is like! I can almost hear him saying "IT HURTS SO GOOD"!

I must say, I raised these snakes from babies and it's quite alarming to see them suddenly become young men and women!!! I would have told him to use protection, but I REALLY didn't think he had this much followthrough, this quickly! That was my first time witnessing a truely virgin male garter try his luck. It was hilarious. You can see their little heads cranking. My tail feels funny!!! What do I do... what do I do....!!!

provided she takes, offpspring are expected to be normals, 100% het anery, and 50% possible het for Iowa albino, 50% het for nebraska albino.
