The furry thing was some sort of little monkey. They had two sharing quite a large enclosure. The snake with the white dorsal is a Ridley's cave racer.

you'd get quite a surprise if you ever saw my music collection. They were indeed lacking in thamnophis. I didn't remark on that but was adamant to give them a note of proper common names for two snakes as well as advising them to remove the sonoran gopher snake from a tropical set-up (it was co-habiting with a Thai beauty snake and a Jungle jag) and put it somewhere more suitable.
