I got a little more than I bargained for! An hour after I got home, I was getting ready to introduce her, and I looked down and there was a squiggly in there!! Uh oh!!! I grabbed the baby bowl (white bowl I use for taking pics of litters) and headed for the kitchen. It was very neat, my entire family and boyfriend got to watch 19 more born over the next half hour! All 20 are live and BIG, and healthy. I lost my little female last week, and now look what I have! Doesn't the female look great for jsut having birthed 20?!

Also, as I was working in the snakeroom, My "blueish" female sirtalis gave birth.... to a bunch of "blueish" little ones!!! I don't recall if I have shown her to you before or not, my little brother brought her to me insisting that she is special and that we keep her. He found her lying in the field dehydrated. She was far from water. I nursed her with spoons of water and now she fares well! That is the second snake that I have nursed with a spoon after my brother's finding of them. The amazing thing is that most of her litter is a blueish gray, they don't have much color at all!!! And they are BIG for sirtalis babies. They are the same size as my remaining three-week-olds. For some reason, she only had half last night, this morning I watched her birth 9 or so more and a jelly bean or two that were not included in the following pictures. Two or three of them are grayish blue with BRILLIANT red eyes, the contrast is stunning and I didn't get any pictures of that yet. Here are some photos. The camera really did not capture their blue hues at all.

notice how one of them sticks out because he has color! Are these possibly Silvers?

Here are two next to a "normal" for comparison.

Here is the whole clutch (well, what was born yesterday and not today) with that same normal thrown in. The other one with color is just an oddball.
