Hard enough! And when you do find them, they generally will cost you a pretty penny. The main reasons for this is the fact that it is illegal to collect and then sell them and I don't think in california you are allowed to possess more than 1 at a time in the first place. I could be wrong though. The one you do have you can't breed or sell. Only give for free. This makes getting them to the general public very HARD and most people could not be bothered with it. And then, you have an extremely high demand for them, and when you couple that with small clutch sizes... well you can see why they are hard to come by! I was very, very, very, unimaginably fortunate to acquire this pair, let alone adopt them, and I am incredibly lucky to now own FOUR, two males, two females, of these amazing animals. You can bet I will be holding back offspring!
