    Re: Waiting

Day 105 .... it's driving me batty ... still not eating and spending all of her time on the warm spot. I just want it to be over. She hasn't eaten for 2 months now ..... simple .... I want babies out and food in!!! You can tell she's put a lot into it as her neck is really starting to look thin now.
Cross your fingers for her .... send your telepathic urges .... anything!!! Push Blue Sausage!!!! Push!!!!
Keeping - 'Florida blue' sirtalis, concinnus, infernalis, parietalis, radix, marcianus and ocellatus.

Who cares! ^^^Jeez, we're all on edge here waiting...

For that next reply on 'snakepop day'. You're killing us with anticipation.

Gongrats to you mommy. The only kids I've been there for from conception to adult, are pomeranians and garter snakes! They're my babies so I'm sure you understand.

I just read something I think you'd like, Greg:

Philippe de Vosjoli: The Art of Keeping Snakes, page 132:

"Gestation, depending on environmental conditions and species, can range from as little as seven weeks for some Floridian forms of garter snakes and water snakes, up to ten months for some of the boas."
Does that sound about right to you?
