I am seeking out ordioides with the red stripe EXACTLY like the picture you posted. I've found hundreds of snakes so far but no red stripers. GIMMIE!

Ask and you shall receive? I seriously hope I didn't take away an old (regular visitor) friend of yours but the comparison is uncanny, and it is the same place after all. There were dry leaves like that, it was a cool day, like the day you took that pic.

I don't get too fond of ordinoides very often but I don't want to give her up now! She's gravid, very tame and curious, comes to my hand (begging for food) and eats pinkies and night crawlers from my hand. She's a porker and very lovable. Here she is:
