    Re: The Perfect Garter House

Rhea, your vet must be somewhat local. How many snakes (garters?) did he have?

Best way to remember it. We all know how they are and can appreciate their value.

If I had half of the money,
they are still asking for it,
    I would make an offer!
That house would be a really nice education center
    for native reptiles.

I would watch it all day if they showed shows that more resemble NOVA, NATURE, or some of the BBC work. Unfortunately they have become the worst of the worst when it comes to sensationalism.

Getting back on topic: Don I am glad you got some face time, and hopefully some good exposure will come of it.

Agreed. AP also has more and more shows that have nothing to do with animals. I Shouldn't be Alive for example. Infested is ok but it tends to lean towards the animals being the invaders, not the humans. What a farce.

They(A.P.) are just feeding the non-nature populate. People that look at nature as interesting but fail to see the animal's side of the equation.
They always see it as nature moving in on our property. Never thinking about how we humans displace them from their homes.
I live with(wild) my radixes. They tolerate me and I don't mind them at all.
They offer no danger to me or my children and do help control the pests along with offering the other perks.

They are not just snakes. They're garter snakes.

I think having snakes in my house would be awesome! Even if they were roaming on their own.
