I give my babies a good meal so that them look full but not stuffed.
If I'm feeding fish(salmon) they get less. I don't trust the fish I have to buy.
I think babies can handle being fed everyday. But not stuffed.
Yeah they are getting much less fish, like maybe 1/3 fish every other day. Mostly pinky with an earth worm starter as required.

See, the descriptions on how much to feed are so vague! "A good size meal". Sheesh, with larger snakes it is usually "a prey item about as big around as their widest girth or a bit smaller" which makes it easy to judge.

The flame is a real little food beggar, if he sees me looking in he either comes closer or dashes to the front and puts his face against the glass. The concinnus is of course playing catchup after the shed fast, and ate twice today but constantly sticks his head out the hidey hole to see if food is coming, and he has done that all day long but it is probably a phase.

If feeding every day is NOT bad I will assume they are okay and won't starve. I rather doubt many garters starve when eating 2 out of 3 days, so I will ignore the pathetic we aren't getting enough food looks.
