Not quite. Trolling would be more like:

Hey stupid! Those snakes are ugly and dumb! I wish I could kill them all! And people who like snakes are stupid and evil, and should all be kicked out of the country!
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.

I thought you are trolling if you continually get off topic too! Am I wrong??! By the way if you called someone a TROLL back in the day you'd suffer the consequences! (putting it nicely!!)

Coming from me, a professional troll, no, that's not the only form of trolling. Most trolling is more lighthearted than that and has a humorous undertone. A person saying things like that is flaming, which anyone can do! Trolling is meant to get a rise out of people, and to confuse them or to get them a little riled up. Being trolled makes you feel like this: whereas being flamed makes you feel like this:

    Trolling is a art.

Nothing. LOL going off topic doesn't make you a troll unless you intentionally do it to derail the thread.

With me it's that this is the first forum that I have ever been on!!! When I have a CONVERSATION with someone the topic sometimes changes!!! Apparently this is frowned upon here! I just need to get used to it I guess! I definately do not do it on purpose!!!

Trolling, technically speaking, is attempting to offend readers for the purpose of fueling needless argument. It could be "for the lulz" as they say, that is, that the person in question doesn't really hold to the position, or it could be that the person seriously holds the opinion and is expressing it in the harshest possible manner.

I agree, when you are having a conversation, it shifts, just like in real life. No harm in that really, people who get all up in arms about it really tick me off.
