    That's an interesting transition.
    Thx. At first I wanted a low-maintenence pet, but then I was disappointed at their one year life span, and wanted a longer lived pet.

    I've never kept mantises myself, but I met someone who does:

    People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.

    If he keeps growing at that rate, you might have to change his name to Gamera. You'd have to teach him to breathe fire and fly, but he's already friend of children everywhere.

    Here's Big Legs, my pacific chorus frog. She's such an awesome little frog. She actually sits very calmly on my hand and doesn't try to get away.

    She just ate a large 4 week old cricket so she was exceptionally lazy.
