It is a San Fran (ran the pic through a couple of filters to check). I also think that is a fair shop price considering you pay about 95-120 Euros from a breeder on the mainland

Cheers Greg, Couldn't tell from the pic. Not going to buy one from the shop anyway. Will wait for Donny! What sort of filter did you use?

I did an equalisation to see the colours better and then sharpened it to check the pattern

Not an unfair markup, as long as the shop has some decent history on the animal. I'd be surprised if you see one of these at Donny, if you did want a tetrataenia best bet is to track down people with breeding pairs and get on a list to get one straight from the breeder.

Not after any of these, just come accross them on a website. Infernalis are a cheaper option and look just as good And these will be at Donny if I order them. The same site have (WC) Ribbon snakes as well for £69.99.

Now that's a bit steep. WC ribbons are normally about £30 in the shops. They'd have to be superspecial at £70!!! They come in at under £10 ... even under £5 at wholesale.

Rod I don't know where you are in the UK but I know that the new member, Sarah, is looking for a San Fran over there...if you aren't going to buy it, maybe you could direct her to the shop.
