I just want to be sure of the sex.
Did you say this snake is 2 years old?

It's estimated to be two years old based on the size when it was found. I'm pretty sure it's very near the same age as the normal pictured with it. It was found mid-spring, and is too big to be a 2011, so I am assuming it's a small 2010.

That was my original thought, but being that close to Idaho, I would think the winter is longer, giving her less time to get that much size before hibernation. Then again, I'm not all that familiar with the climate of Northern Utah..
