I find that tank size plays a role in the number of babies they produce. I would suggest at least a 20 gallon if you need a constant supply.

Tank had a blonde(no offense meant) moment yesterday.

Tank had gone into the front bedroom for a nap. Later in the evening he came walking out. It was time to hydrate and probably use the bathroom.
As he made his way into the living room he encountered the vacuum I had left out. In typical Tank fashion he simply knocked it over and out of his way. It was then I think he lost track of where he was heading. He now seemed focused on the front sliding door. As he crawled past my laptop I yelled his name twice. He stopped and looked over at me. It was then he got back on track to his water. He really did have a "oh yeah" look on his face when I yelled at him.
    He's such a funny turtle.

Something a little different for you guys. I love these awesome little boas: Eryx conicus (or I guess "Gongylophis conicus" now..) aka Rough Scaled Sand Boas. I raised 1.2 from we babies over the last 5 years and this is the first time breeding them for me. The first female dropped these two and one slug that I found (may have been more that she got to first who knows). They were born on Canada day and just shed so I thought I would share a quick pic or two:

I have one more mama ready to pop any day, hoping for a few more healthy babies.
