    Thanks guys the female has much better red color but her blue is almost white. Not sure which I like better. I have another pair of californias but they look more hypo-ish and aren't as pretty.

    Beautiful! Is that a typical size for a female infernalis? (Just curious because I loooove these snakes, and the next I get, I want a big female...I'd like to get one that will get closer to 3 feet.)

    Size potential is largely a matter of genetics, not just food supply/environment, but from what I've seen across Cali, in the wild, they get huge. In just about any location where I've found them, females well over 3 feet are around. Some individuals far exceed that and end up really close to 4 feet.
