I do like Rosy boas. I have a Kenyan and I'm coming to the conclusion it's a male. I think he'll be lucky to reach 15 inches in his case.

Great looking babies though. I really like stripes

Re: Other pets (pics and discussions)

They all pooped today, so while I cleaned their cages I went ahead and weighed them, snapped a few pics and sort of checked them for spurs. Since I was trying to stress them the least amount, not real sure about anything I may or might not have seen. Takes me awhile every time I use my husband's camera to get the hang of it. So the pictures slowly get better. These are all surprisingly big babies, they are all approx. 10 to 12 inches long.

    ExS2012-1 *20grams, possible spurs.*

    ExS2012-2. 19 grams. No spurs?

    ExS2012-3. 22 grams. No spurs?

    ExS2012-4. 22 grams. No spurs?

ExS2012-5. 19 grams. Forgot to check spurs.*

No new pictures right now, just wanted to update Panzer's weight. She's gone from 426g on April 3 (when I received her) to 900g as of yesterday! Doubled her weight in 4 months! The person I purchased her from said that they've had her since she was a hatchling and been feeding her pellets, minnows, crickets and worms. Oh, she was supposedly 2.5yrs old when I got her.

Does anybody on here keep amphibians? I'm trying to get ideas of how to set up a tank and it's really frustrating me!

With my frogs (they're wild caught from around my area) I just use potting soil, the kind without chemicals. I also have 2 plugs of grass from my yard... Until recently, I had sticks in there... But they didn't seem comfortable with them. I have seeds that are germinating that I plan on putting in with them after they aren't so breakable... I had 100 angelica sprouts and they crushed them all! Haha. Try frog forum, they have enclosure ideas.

I've been trying there but I find that I'm lucky if I ever get a response. I think I made the mistake of deciding on a species that needs a lot of water. I'm trying to incorporate a shoreline into a viv and that means water filtration. It's actually making steam appear from my ears.

Ouch, I don't blame you. Not many people there owned PCFs, I think 2 people responded to my old thread. Urrrgh. Haha.
Could you just keep it as a very simple enclosure for a week or two until you can get a little more info and plan out all of the things you need.
