This is Scarlett my Red-Sided garter. She can be spazzy at times, but she's one of my favorites!My-Parietalis.jpg

    Rest In Peace
This was my Daffy(first Babs before figured out she was a HE) I got him at a week old from a guy who chose to save a garter rather then drive over her with a lawn tractor, two days later she had 27 babies, He was one of them. Till a little while ago... I messed up, he got out and little while after that I found him but not before the cat did.

Miss my buddy. Picture doesn't do him justice, the orange strip is dead on, but all where this picture shows brown like his nose was a beautiful bright n deep green. His lateral stripes looked more like a light lime green then the pale yellow they seem here. I'm so sorry buddy.

    Here's mine

    P9270047.jpg

He's a Gulf Coast Ribbon Snake (Thamnophis proximus orarius). His name is Proximus(how original, I know). The pictures don't do him quite justice. He's a real pretty turqoise type of green, blue color starting around his little cheekbone area down(only on his sides and belly, not the middle stripe), that starts to fade out a little towards his middle. I guess you can tell a little bit in the pic. He's a very pretty boy

Very pretty ribbon. I've seen some Thamnophis sauritus sauritus available to buy. He only has females though and I would be interested in a pair I think.

I really do think ribbons seem to be underrated and under represented

My first snake, in his second enclosure. I wish I could find another like him and I don't just mean one that looks the same.

Incidentally, this was the picture I used in my introduction thread on this forum.
