snake friendly lawn maintenance

I usually get sunburned, but so far only one garter snake fatality this year, I was mowing grass 3 feet tall at the time & it was a yearling.

Had I kept it short, the snake never would have been there.

Killed a Dekayi today.

It was up inside the recoil start on the mower engine hiding, I never knew it was in there, the engine started up and the flywheel did the rest....

I'm sorry to hear that Wayne. No way to tell he was there unless you start searching all of your equipment each and every time...
