    Talking Update

Been so busy lately haven't had time to keep up with all the posts, let alone post myself.
No more snake mites have surfaced so I'm confident that they didn't spread beyond No-Feet's tank. I fixed everyone back to their normal tank set up with the cypress mulch. All my kids seem very happy with that. I've been rotating the little ones with each other since I've onlythree middle kids. The deal concerning the viper boa in exchange for two ribbons didn't fall through and so I don't have any new ones that way. Singapore shed for me and Irealized just how big she's gotten. I moved her into a fourty gallon reptile tank and she seems to be thriving. Singapore is the only one of the ribbons who doesn't appear to mind being alone. I've reposted Raven on Craigs and hope to find someone who has ribbons they're willing to trade. Lopsided deal I know but they're really what I want. I'm thrilled to announce that I have a new addition to the reptile family. This evening we caught a new born ribbon snake! Again this one was located fishing in the gold fish pond out in the front yard. It was quite the challenge catching the little guy. Little squirt was fast! Since ribbon snakes give birth in June to July I'm estimating this little one is about three or two months old. Brand spanking new! I'm going to try extremelly hard to take extra grand care of this little one. I don't want to lose another baby. Since sexing is impossible right now and since my first thought towards the baby was "little angel" I've that the name is Angel. Angel is also perfect since it can either be a boy or girl name. Pictures coming soon!

Yes, in the yard. Angel is the second one caught out at the pond but fifth ribbon spotted in the wild. Two were caught at the pond, two were hanging around where the outside water faucets drip, and one was spotted by the pool. I've been keeping track on where ribbons are being seen out here.

    Re: Update

Judging from the color and red stripe along the spine I'd say red-striped ribbon. Survived the night which is good and trying to figure out how to get up and over the water bowl to the guppies. This morning is just as exciting because came across a big angry Texas Rat Snake and a baby pink-tailed Texas Spiny lizard. I love TX!
