Our local weather experts say there's no end to summer in the near future. No rain at all in the 10 day forecast. Upper 70's and low 80's. It's so friggin dry! Rivers are critically low. Small streams and ponds that haven't gone dry in years are gone. Bone dry. And this is following one of the wettest springs on record. It didn't stop raining until mid July and Sticking snow fell on the beaches in the middle of April!

That's how it's been here. I think I can count on one hand the number of times it's rained here this summer. Lots of wildfires in the surrounding area because it's so dry I just hope we have a better winter than last year.

Well yeah. A lot of the country is in a severe drought. Worst since the "Dust Bowl" era. Food prices are going to skyrocket very soon. WA isn't officially in a drought. Just a very dry summer. Our local corn crops are doing fantastic.

Wow. In about the past 3 months we got one good shower. 0.4 inches and that's it. Sunny and warm outside.
