You can expect to set him up like you would a garter, on a small scale. I would also inlude flat hides, such as some flat pieces of bark... they really love to be squished tight under flat things. Please take into consideration that this is a very shy, reclusive species. the more hides and cover the better.

I would keep it in the cooler location myself.
