That is amazing! I do have a feeling that water is going to get STINKY though. Sump pump/filter systems are nice, but they need a lot of maintenance... and there always seems to be a choke point...

There is a filter system and a lot of waterplants that keep the water clean ;-)
Garter snakes , Ball pythons , Burmese pythons , corn snakes , Green iguana's , tortoises , ferrets , dogs , cats , mini pigs ,...

Very cool. There are fish and turtles in there? How long has the pump been running? Even in a balanced system there seems to be enough algae etc to choke a pump fairly often...

The pump is not always on , only in hot summermonths.
The rest of the year the aquatic plants take over.Garter snakes , Ball pythons , Burmese pythons , corn snakes , Green iguana's , tortoises , ferrets , dogs , cats , mini pigs ,...
