Kevin luzzi ( aka ameivaboy) is a great person to deal with if your interested in the little guy! I am not very good with genetics so i will stay out of the argument about that, but i will give you my opinion since this is an open forum. They have been bred for several years now and have been called anery and blue axanthic for so long that everyone in the hobby knows what we are talking about when we call them anery and blue axanthic. I've even seen them for sale by bhb and exotic pets as anery and blue axanthic. I don't think it should be changed now that these labels have been established and just confuse alot of people. In my opinion genetics is a very tricky subject. I know in painting colors like black and brown are made up of several primary colors and have to be mixed just right to get the color you want. Take brown for an example what happens if you take away red from brown? Brown is typically made up of red/yellow/blue or green/red/blue so if you took away the red you would get some shade of blue or green. I know snake genetics are not the same, but colors are colors. If i had to guess i would say there is a ton of animal morphs being labeled wrong in the whole hobby in general, but at the end of the day it's just a label. Genetic testing would be way too dificult and expensive! I feel if the animal is in your own private collection you can call it a blueberry if you want too, but we should keep them labeled like they are since it's already established. Again this is not meant as an argument towards anyone as I think highly of everyone on this forum and this is just my own personal opinion! Thanks!
