    I'm tempted to say radix but leaning towards sirtalis sirtalis.

    I'd be tempted to say T. radix, if it wasn't for the facial markings, or rather the lack thereof.

    T. sirtalis sirtalis seems plausible.

    I would say t s sirtalis....where was the snake found (that also helps with id!)

    Yeah, I don't think I'd worry about the garter under the deck Now your other visitor... just watch your step, I guess...

    Yes, thats leading up to my yard. Thats just one of the two I need to watch out for. I'll know when I get to close to him but the Copper head is another story. Thanks Again All for the info .
