    Oh my gosh..... *cries* Those are SOOOOO nice!!! I SOO wish I could keep venomous but not willing to take the risk.... Most venomous species have a special quality about them and really appeal to me.

    Thanks for the info Bay_Area....its also a good idea to get something less venomous....(like that's possible) and fast to have as a "test" to see if your ready for the big leagues....such as western hognose snakes.....they have venom and are quick, but it won't kill you if you get a hit from one. ;-)

    Lol!! I wouldn't use a hognose. lol! I would either use a MEAN non venomous, such as a texas rat snake, a nasty WC water snake, etc... And tell yourself everytime you get bit you could be dead or injured. OR pick a better rear fanged. Hognose is SOO mild. Most people don't even call them rear fanged. OR I would choose something rear fanged that is actually aggressive with a slightly stronger venom such as a Mangrove Snake.
