that toy can save you money
I come from a family of people into cars
my dad drove the Ralley Monte Carlo twice and placed 5th once
my brother used to hang with the Formula One crowd that is now retired
my sibs would never drive anything less than a BMW (my bro did go through a Lotus phase, but you just don't go anywhere in the snow with a Super 7) and frankly I do drool over a few cars myself
there's a satisfying feel to a car that moves when you step on the gas and I hate driving automatic, which is unfortunately what hired cars usually are
all the same - I believe that carbon based technologies are on their way out and with it some aspects of car culture
I've been weaning myself for a while - looking for other means of cool and other ways to get the feel of driving that I like
    so I'm actually quite curious whether there are some other people on this forum whose rides are . . . . different . . . quirky . . . something else . . .

Personally a big fan of feet I walk several miles a day.... feels good

When I have to drive, we got a Toyota RAV4 (SUV) that is a wonder truck... It gets great mileage, and the brakes last forever

However that is due to proper use of the 5 speed manual tranny, downshift and let the motor slow it down.

The dealer mad a funny face, had to custom order the truck. Toyota does not offer a fully loaded truck with standard??? seems that consumers who want AC / CD / etc... want automatic??? why?? automatic is so boring.

Walking is mandatory, Where we live I can walk out the back door, go straight for 20-25 minutes and still be in my "back yard"

When I look out the back window, knowing that I hold the deed for most of that hill and all those woods still enthralls me, and I have been looking at that same scene off and on since 1973

I am third generation owner, and hope that one day my kids feel the same way about it.

Well...I guess my ride started out normal, but the Earnhardt fan in me took over and now it's kind of...uh...radically quirky? but hey, what can I say...I DO live in West Virginia

Hello, I'm a new owner...found a Garter at work so I decided to keep it. Don't know what kind, but I'm thinking it's an Eastern since I live in WV.

Oh. Because you know, it seems to me that, aside
