no...we don't have a big enough tank for the brum...very nice snake...but no.....we did buy a cuban tree frog (was for sale as a feeder!!!! now a pet!), 2 rats for my other 2 girls (Claire and Kelly), Keith got a baby ball python, and Nikki got a prairie kingsnake, female, het for albino. I got 2 baby plains garters (to increase my gene pool) and a male prairie kingnake, het for albino. I sold 1 hypermelanisitic wandering and 3 ribbons. will be trading the remaining ribbons for an albino checkered this week!!! was a fun expo, lots more people than we expected. they had to turn down about 10-15 vendors as there wasn't enough room in the expo area. they will probably open the 2nd floor next year. I am hoping that I will have enough to get my own table!!!!
we took a few photos...then Nikki ran off....shot 110 pics!!!!! will be posting some tomorrow. we had some cool snakes here....including a $1,000,000 snake and one for $750,000.....the are gold finger ball pythons...only 3 in the world....real yellow..kinda hard to describe. will be posting a pic of them...he had that price instead of saying not for sale....just having fun! He did say that if someone offered to pay the million he would send the snake out the door!!!! I will be posting pics in the next few days or so.

Looks like a great time, father to father was it tough to keep Nikki into reptiles or what? Even though my girls are only 3 & 4 they love em, they flip over every rock they see now! Wondering if you got any tips for me on making that "bond" last.

    -cheers!

btw, the easterns holding up for you ok?

I had no problem keeping Nikki interested in herps.....she has been interested all her life. she is continuing in my footsteps...hopefully. she is volunterring at the shelter I work at, and hopes someday to be an animal control officer like me!! the easterns are doing great!!!! the larger female ate her first pinkie mouse!!!!! the others are taking pinkie parts and worms. I had to send a male to Scott....I owed him some money for snakes I got...so he has one of the males.
I was lucky when I was a kid....we had fence lizards most summers. when I hit my freshman year in high school, I was allowed to have garter snakes only....after I built a 3 ft by 2 ft snake cage. I have been keeping herps ever since then....28 years!!! not counting all the lizards in all the summers when I was younger!!! I am pretty good at letting my kids have critters....most of the time and also depending on what the critter is!!!!
