    I am using eco earth as substrate...and the humidity is like 80...anything i can do to lower it or will i have to use different substrate?

    You must have just "reconstituted it" today...

    The Eco earth will dry out soon, and your humidity will go down a lot.

    If you let it, Eco earth will dry out as it was when you got the "brick"

    It will just be powdery instead of hard.

    I use a lot of Eco earth.... Great stuff.

    That's a handsome keelback you have there.

    That is one gorgeous snake. I really like! Darn, darn, another for my list.... I LOOVE the "zebra stripes" on the tummy!!

    Nice looking snake! Just a word of warning..... Xenochrophis vittata can often be heavily parasitised, when first acquired. Might be worth a check-up.

    thanks. yup he ate the first day here. he won't eat in front of me yet though, i have to leave the room lol. i hope that changes....eating minnows. gonna give him some nightcrawlers soon and then try some rodents
