    I don't know what is natural about a gob of regurgitated newspaper on the floor of an enclosure.

    Repti bark mixed with some coconut hair is nice looking, and washable, yes washable just put it in a colander (Strainer) and run hot water through it, drain and dry, then put it back in.

    Super cheap, since it washes. Looks better than mulch, and it absorbs odors.
