    Coffee!!! I'm drinking it right now! Didn't go to sleep til 2am...and my son decided to get up at 5:30 to see his Santa presents...went back to sleep at 6:30....now I'm up again to do family presents...I think I need some Turkish coffee...the kind that Turkish men drink in Turkish coffee houses....has anyone every had any?..it's kind of like drinking the stuff that's left in the bottom of your coffee pot at the end of the day....yep...tastes like sludge...but it's super power sludge!

    Well...it's officially Christmas at my house. My mother just had a panic attack and she thinks she is having a heart attack or something and my father is drunk and starting a fight with me over me trying to calm my mother down. Fa la la la la....

    Okay so I just got back from the hospital a couple of hours ago...turns out my mother was not having a panic attack...she may have had a stroke. It just keeps getting better. Ugh. How I wish all my garter forum friends were here right now...

    One positive thing happened...for the first time in his drunken life, my father actually apologized to me. A Christmas miracle...

    I have to go back to the hospital in the morning...they are running all kinds of tests on my mother.

    Praying for you n yours, So sorry to hear this. My grandma had a small stroke awhile back and is doing great after a 'splint' or 'shunt' (something like that) to open up the blocked path. Stay strong! Perhaps something good will come of this... Never know, Keep your chin up. *Hugs*
