re: Other pets (pics and discussions)

I'm not exactly terrified of them. That would be irrational. Sort of like having the urge to kill possums on sight for no reason at all

Some spiders, (only some) depending on how they look, just give me the creeps. Not exactly fear, but, well, I don't know how to explain it. Even the one's that give me the creeps don't scare me if that makes any sense. Spiders fascinate me, even the one's that creep me out. I always avoid killing them if possible and so I'd rather catch and relocate (even a big hairy creep one found in say, the bathtub) whenever possible.

When I was a kid living in CA, some friends and I would often have a contest to see who could catch the biggest black widow. There was no shortage of those around in late summer. I was not afraid of those, just respectful. They are very docile for the most part. Then one day, during the hunt for the big one, I hit the jackpot and found an adult female black widow. It was albino! Seriously!

I am terrified of spiders....of course, many people hear me say that and then they say.."You have a snake!"...I say "Yes....very different, spiders and snakes.." lol....
It is pretty funny how many people think that if you like one, you should like the other! Doesn't quite work that way, LOL.

I'm scared of them too. I cry and scream for my mom even when the spider is smaller than my thumb... Hah..

Let your friend know that I'll give him $22 maybe $23 dollars and will pay for shipping? If he pushes me I can probably go $25 + shipping

I love turtles. Most have great attitudes.
