There's a program to measure snakes!?! Cool!

I should look into that program. All I do now is measure their shed skins, and compare to the last for an idea of growth.

I sort of guess by how long they are when they're mostly stretched out along some measurable surface

That is what I've been doing, but you only get an estimate that way....

So what is this software? Is it free, off the internet somewhere??

Incidentally, I have a great, super easy little program for re-sizing pics if anyone wants it. It's very basic, not much editing ability, but great for re-sizing. It's called i_view.

Search the forum for Snake Measurer or snakemeasurer. There are links in most of the threads where it is mentioned.

Terry, sorry for side-tracking your thread. For those interested in the measuring software, it is free and here's the link:

Got em! He was back under the same rock, and he was just a bit slower! The stripe is a very very pale yellow, almost white, sides are pale yellow. Beautiful little guy. The lump in the middle is probably a slow toad.

Re: Easterns that I have met

While up at the farm (100 mi east of home) getting ready for spring planting, came across this little lady. She is a real beauty, a non-typical eastern. I suspect a gravid female.

P.S. Rhea has chloe shed? Would love to see how her color is now.
