She does look like she has a lot of growing to do. I think she will be a beloved companion to you for many years.

Just after Christmas I bought my dream corn snake, a bloodred. He couldn't be shipped from his breeder in Florida until the weather got warmer. So I finally got him just before my birthday on Thursday. So I guess you could say he's a late Christmas /early birthday present to myself. I bought him sight unseen off the internet from this wonderful lady, Nanci at Snickersnakes. And I couldn't be happier with him! He came out of his box from FedEx warm and active. He's great to handle, eats like a hog and poses for the camera.

Here's the newest man in my life, Napalm.

Picked up a pair of bearded dragons, very thin/dehydrated/off colored because of poor husbandry of the last owner. Few days in my care coloring up nice, they are Orange hypo pastels, rehabbing then off they go to a new home.

However, I got rid of all of my snakes personally, I had only lizards, unless you count the 7 foot northern pine that my girlfriend keeps at her house and we kinda share... Anyway, was browsing craigslist for snakes (I get super cheap ones, resell, hey economy sucks and im jobless ) and I found a decent looking link, texted the guy for pics, turns out he was trying to unload an over 6 foot snow bull for $50, talked him down to $40, but either way was a hell of a deal, he's a gorgeous animal and I've been wanting one since mine passed away.

Stunnin boy, 4 years old, over 6 foot long, I was going to resell this one, for a decent profit, but I'm stuck, I'll have to cut my $40 loss and move on

My first loves are canine. Moved to the country 1 year ago and had two older rescue dogs, justified getting the first breeder bought pup in 20 years by saying "well he will protect the other pets from predatory coyotes and such in the country".

Got more canine machismo than I expected! One year old 100 lb Anatolian raised on a farm guarding sheep. Turns out yeah, he sure will protect us against coyotes, nere-do-well humans, and anything else that could threaten but has also become the apex predator regarding my two older male dogs and the cat. LOL. Good times, separating the canines permanently. Plus the threat display (over stolen frozen chicken off the counter) will darn near give you a heart attack, they may love their people but they won't give up anything that is "theirs".

Awesome canine; hard headed/sweet/difficult/loving/demanding and I feel so blessed to have him in my life.
