Not that it's unbelievable but when Tank is hungry and I stick my hand in the enclosure he will sniff and search my hand for food but will not bite.
He has bitten me in food situations(totally my fault as I put my finger in his way while he was biting at food) but he immediately released and caused no injury. He is more than capable of causing injury at his size.
He seems to be thinking about more than reacting to situations.

Still trying to knock down the goose bumps and dreadful loathing just from the mention of it. Sorry. Like some people are with snakes, I'm like "get that thing away from me!" I think I'll just go get myself a beer and watch a movie or something to take my mind off of it.
