Apparently this group has a running joke going on.
They know I do a head count (7 B/W) every time I feed them.
The joke is one will remain hidden in the substrate until I panic and pull the other 6 out. Then #7 pops his head out.
    Some joke. Little jerks.

Wow, I CANNOT imagine trying to take care of 7...it sounds like you even have more. One keeps me plenty busy.

It's nice to know I'm not the only one that gets the, "holy crap! Where did my snake go!" feeling, I can only imagine multiplying that by x(insert # of snakes).

I ruined a perfectly good set-up today that I had in Cee Cee's enclosure...I had it set up so nice. Seeley was in there with her and I couldn't find him anywhere...until, of course, I pulled everything out of the enclosure and found him curled up under the substrate in the back corner! That hasn't happened in a long time. I told Seeley that he had to put everything back exactly the way I had it...but he wouldn't listen to me.

    Yeah right.

"Mr. Gilfillan said he bought 10,500 mice from MiceDirect early this year, delivered to his door. He keeps them in the freezer compartment of a basement refrigerator."

    And that's just the mice!

I think it's safe to assume that one does not buy and store this much snake food for "a couple of snakes"
