that tail is also really long relative to the total body length. my female's is probably half that. she's a parietalis; i don't know if there's a lot of variation between the subspecies, but the length of the tail would also be a tip off (i'm no steve, but i seem to be developing an eye for this)

Using tail length shouldn't hold too much significant.
It should only be used as a clue to possible sexing.
Just my observation over these years.

Tail structure is where I start, then I look at other things like body and head symmetry.

I almost named Possum Bumble...the name of the abominable snowman in the Rudolf Christmas movie...because he was so cute and clutsy...I have a stuffed animal of him. You should definitely get an albino checkered...Hermes says so.
