Re: have you tried pet food?

You mean, tried it personally? Not as food for the snakes? I did. As a child I loved eating budgie food and nibbled the occasional piece of dry cat food. When we had the rabbits and guinea pigs I sometimes stole a carrot before feeding them, but I guess that doesn't really count.
Can't say I fancy taking a bite out of a pinkie though.

I'm too scared to try a pinky. And about the cricket... it had some vinegar on it. But it's still a cricket, right?

A piece of advice... don't try the pinky, no matter how tempted or curious you might be.... it is really not pleasant! But crickets are great!

Ok, I won't. *looks at pinkies on counter* Um... *licks lips*

And next time I'll try a cricket without vinegar.

I've tried worms, ants (Yummy!), beetles, crickets, waxworms, mealies, dog food, among many other things.
But I can never bring myself to eat a roach. :P

    That's farther than I'd go!

...especially the meal worms, the way they wriggle around in my hand and nibble my arms.
