importing snakes from Europe is more involved than just dealing with shipping costs
it's the paperwork involved that makes it prohibitive
we do have them here in the US as well
I seem to remember an US forum member having them

I'm not sure that he's got any right now, but they definitely are obtainable without having to deal with piles of papers and a large expense

I agree with drache. You'll certainly find some good offspring in the US, which make it not that difficult to ship them to you then when you would do from Europe...

The snake from Scott is cyrtopsis ocellatus, so a different subspecies. Although there is little difference sometimes between ocellatus and cyrtopsis.
