She just never grew. Ate only worms and occasionally a bit of trout or salmon. She lived with us for a bit more than a year but then just gave up.

But to the genders, the tetra is a male for sure and the first concinnus looks like a female (not sure) and the second a male (more likely)

I've been watching those stuffed animals on ebay. That's as close as I'll ever get to a S.F.Garter(Thamnophis sirtalis tetrataenia ). You didn't have to rub it in.

The first photo is the hardest to see. Looks pretty thick. I still say male. If you can post a better photo that would be great.
