Hopefully these guys prove out to be genetic

This is a pair that Scott Felzer produced by crossing a New York paradox albino to a erythristic florida. The female is a bit thin but I believe she might be gravid though, hopefully they will produce some nice babies. The female has a little rusty orange color, and the male is more green.

this pair of radix should make some nice looking albinos

This cross should make some pretty babies, I am hoping they will have really nice purple look for an albino radix. The female is 100% proven het xmas albino and also het nebraska and het anerythristic. The male is an Iowa albino that is 66% possible het for nebraska albino and anerythristic. So there are lots of possibilities for the babies, this could end up being a very colorful variety litter, at the very least half will be albino because the xmas and iowa are compatible, so shold get some nice albinos at the least, with the possibility of many other surprises too.

    Iowa red-sided x Kansas snow red-sided

This female is one that I caught near my house 3 years ago, then 2 years ago I sold it to Scott Felzer, then last summer I bought her back, lol. thanks Scott for letting my have her back, she is a real nice snake. So anyway this spring I bred her to my male Kansas strain snow red-sided. The resulting babies will be outcrossed to Iowa strain and will be double hets for snow (het albino and het anerythristic). Then those crossed back I believe will produce a slightly different looking albino and may even effect the look of the snow or anerys too. The reason I believe this is that the Kansas strain has a lot more yellow in it and shows in the albino, so hopefully the Iowa bloodline will give it a more white and red (candycane) look in the albino, I guess we will see in a couple years, lol oh well thats what makes it fun...the unknown.

Now that I look forward to. Not that I have anything against the yellow showing (My albino is beautiful to me) but a white snake with red spots would be awesome.

Well not making any promise thats how it will look, but just theorizing and hoping, but thats what it takes to motivate one to raise up a bunch of normal babies to breed and all the work required over several years., besides it's pretty cool the fact that snake is an eastern iowa local just like me
