Unfortunately Tom the silver gene comes with a few loose screws if you know what I mean? but I still have several adults in the refrigerator that will produce this spring if all goes well and with a lot of luck, next thing on the agenda is to do a lot of outcrossing, but that may be in vein as there may be linkages that may prove impossible to overcome regardless of breedings, but one must try and exhause all efforts for a gene as pretty and unique as the silver gene.... then again at some point maybe its time to throw in the towel, move on and focus on other projects? It reminds me of the spider ball pythons "stargazer" but only much worse. Thats what I expect when combining freaks of nature, a circus show with good bad and ugly and sometimes the extrordinary, but thats what I love, so I still have a lot of hope for the silver, and silver combos, and the challenge makes all the more reward.
