That sounds like a neat idea! I'd love to see it when you have it done.

i never thoughnt to use those. I used to raise rats and they had those also. I love that idea. They are easy to clean and right now my babies like the toilet paper and paper towel tubes so thosse shouldnt be a problem. Cant wait to see pics. Great idea. Also ur snakies are very pretty.
I wanted to Thank you Steve for your help with the heating pad.

I have 4 Easterns(mine: Furbie and Whiplash; moms: Diamond and Silky) all are 5 and half months old. So much fun gaters are.

I get paid again on the 20th, so im going to pick up a circle set to start with, they go in make a big circle and come back out, if they like that then i will buy a bunch and make a cool, upper level. I will wrap vines around the outside in case they decide to go ontop the tunnels, that way they have something to sorta hang onto. Cant wait to do it.

Tonight will be feeding night again, but here are some new pics of today after i put some new goodies in their tank for them, and they obliged me by exploring most of the new stuff, except the snake cave, they havent discovered that the opening is on the top yet.

    Re: Lexi and Indy

2nd feeding went pretty well except lexi tried to eat indy, well it started with her trying to steal food from his mouth and when he ran away she attacked him. Once i got that broke up all was well. Lexi ate almost a whole pinkie by herself tonight, i been calling her lexapig lol she is a very very good eater, good thing i had indy in for food first lol he mostly wanted worms this time, and wasnt overall interested in the pinkies, lexi though OMG she was making laps around the feeding tank cleaning up all the pinkie parts and a couple worm pieces. she licked it clean you could say. i let them slowely slither out of their feeding tank and into the snake den where its nice and toasty warm, and i had dampened the bedding some earlier today. They seem snug as a bug in a rug in there now.

Keep an eye on their mouths if they locked. Keep an eye on them while feeding, if they end up fighting over food, the mouth can get infected and end up killing the snake if you don't treat it.

    Re: Lexi and Indy

i checked both of them over all looks fine, i think next time i will do one at a time though i was scared for indy he is a lil smaller then lexi. Thats why i put him in first, but next time i will just let him finish up and take him out before i put lexi in. she was very aggressive. To break the fight up, i tickled her head with a small unused paint brush, it did the trick. I didnt see any actualy biting of eachother just the food, and they rolled around a bit. but i will check on them to make sure all is well before i go to bed, and when i get up tomorrow.

It can look fine now and look terrible tomorrow. Keep an eye on them for a couple days.
